A little girl whose mission is to capture photos and videos all what is happening in her country Palestine.
She is a resident of Nabi Saleh in the occupied West Bank. At age 7, she began making videos of what is happening in her village.
And at age 10, she already have the courage to divulge what is going on around her community, by going with other local children to attend demonstrations against the Israeli occupation.
In an interview, she said this:
The death of her cousin, Mustafa Tamimi and her uncle, Rushdi Tamimi - made her more strong and brave, it serves as a trigger to document everything was is happening in Nabi Saleh. The encouragement and support she get from his family and friends made her continue to work as a journalist.
Bilal Tamimi, Janna's Uncle, is a Documentary Photographer. He documented all the violence of Israeli soldiers in Nabeh Salih. Janna was partly inspired by him.
