MY EON CYBER ACCOUNT VISA ELECTRON CARD ONLINE APPLICATION EXPERIENCE
For a long time I've lost my wallet(story here). At last I have now my new UNION EON VISA CARD!

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR EON VISA CARD?
- Visit their site UNION BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES. Click EON on the top.
- Click EON ONLINE APPLICATION.
- Click APPLY NOW.
- And follow the 4 EASY-STEPS.
- FILL OUT the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. Then I received through SMS my reference number and the pick-up branch I selected. Here I choose UNION BANK DAVAO-MAGSAYSAY.
- After a week I visited UNION BANK-MAGSAYSAY and present my reference number to the assigned representative. But I was unlucky to have my card done there because their vault was LOCK and it was still on scheduled for repair. The representative calls another branch to transfer my transactions, she first calls UNION BANK DAVAO VICTORIA(no luck because the printer is not working well). Second branch, UNION BANK MONTEVERDE,at last they say YES. I can now transfer my transaction with them. To make the story short I have my card done at UNION BANK DAVAO MONTEVERDE for almost an hour due to slow internet connection.
- Before I forget UNION BANK gives me a hard time on submitting requirements, compared to BPI MY e-Prepaid Card wherein I only have to present one valid photo bearing ID(story here). UNION BANK will ask for two or more VALID ID's, have it photocopy. And you have to signed more papers with your three specimen signatures. And pay for CARD PROCESSING FEE: PHp350 good only for 1 year.
- Well I'm done after waiting for an hour, I received my EON VISA Card and ready to start to enjoy the many benefits my card has to offer.

HOW TO LINK EON VISA CARD TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

Just today I call the UNION BANK Customer Service, because I am living here in Davao City I have to use their Domestic Toll Free number 1-800-1888-2277*. Listen carefully to their automated instructions; here I click number 3 for credit card, eon card, and merchant card inquiry.
Then a customer representative answered me, she asks me so many questions for security reasons. After I answered her, she asks me again how can she help me and what is my query all about? I told her that I cannot access my EON CYBER ACCOUNT LOG-IN.
She answered me politely; maybe my account is not yet activated on their machine. But I have already called yesterday and I ask one of their customer representatives and he told me that my account is already ACTIVATED and I can link it with my PayPal account. So instead of putting me in dismay, she asks for my CARD NUMBER to give me my PayPal CODE NUMBER which is I will be going to get it tomorrow or the next day after, because it says there I have to wait 2-3 days to have my CODE. But then she give me my CODE without further questions, and I thank her for that. I thought I have to wait 2-3 working days for my CODE.
When I link my code to my PayPal account and as soon I confirmed my account, it automatically credit and debit my account. I thought again I have to wait 24 hours for PayPal to return my money being credited to my UNION EON ACCOUNT.
Very fast isn't it? My status account to PayPal is VERIFIED. I have all the privilege now to use my Paypal account together with my EON VISA CARD.
UPDATE 1/28/13:
Just to inform you guys if you want to withdraw money from your Paypal account use your BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER(below your name on your card). Input your Bank account number instead of your CARD NUMBER above. If you put the CARD NUMBER you cannot withdraw money from your Paypal account through your EON UNION BANK VISA CARD.
HOW TO LINK EON VISA CARD TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT?
- If you have already a Paypal account, submit your EON VISA CARD as your BANK ACCOUNT for Paypal.
- For you to get verified, you have to deposit money to your EON VISA CARD at least $1.95 or PHp100, this is just for verification purposes,Paypal will credit back your money to your Paypal account as soon your card is verified.
- Next go to your paypal account, link your eon visa card number as "DEBIT CARD". If you add it successfully, you need to wait for your Paypal Code for 2-3 days. How to get the Paypal Code? CALL THE PayPal Hotline number after 2-3 working days and ask for your Paypal Code or EXPUSE NUMBER.
- After getting your PayPal Code or EXPUSE NUMBER, log in back to your Paypal Account and click the link MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD and enter Paypal Code. And that's it you will be prompted that your Paypal has verified.
