Trying to LOG-IN with your EON CYBER ACCOUNT ONLINE BANKING and you cannot access the said transaction?

This is what happened when I opened my EON ONLINE BANKING Transaction, using my LOG-IN ID/USERNAME and PIN as my password they brought me here to a "CHANGE TRANSACTION PASSWORD" page.

It says: "As an additional security measure, we are requiring you to change your Transaction password. You can continue to use the facility after your transaction password has been changed".

First time to encounter this is not happening before.  Filling up the needed PASSWORD, I put my PIN NUMBER as my first password. Followed by a NEW PASSWORD and retyping it again.  And just I click OK it says "INVALID TXN PASSWORD".

What does it mean?  So I could there CUSTOMER SERVICE HOTLINE:

  3. What happened to mine is that I do't have transaction password and was asked to visit their branch since they cannot give it to me through email in their website which is for me very inconvenience especially when you are out of the country. At the same time depicts the purpose of online banking. I cannot get through the domestic toll free number too so I call the regular line but the agent at that time wasn't that helpful and seems don't know how to solve my problem so that turns me down with its service. I decided to withdraw almost all my money and will transfer it to other bank instead.

  7. You're correct. Mostly of the banks with online banking do have this 90-120 days expiration of password. They just do this for their protection and more importantly, of their clients. It will always be a turn off to us when a bank have a lousy security system.

  10. I already get mini-heart attacks whenever I see "invalid password" prompts when I try to log on a site. Had I seen that on an online bank account, I don't know what I would've done. Hehe. Good thing their customer service seems okay. But I think it's a bit of a hassle to have to change it periodically... or did I misread that? In any case, congrats that now you're able to use your account again. :)

  15. Great post! I'm actually experiencing the same. Thanks for the tips. By the way, for their domestic toll free line, no charge at all? I'm thinking if I can use that via mobile phone since we don't have landline at home. Thanks! :)

  22. I have never encountered this. Although I had my share of forgetting my online account password, the bank would usually have them changed on the phone after 5 correct verified info or else you'd have to go to the bank's branch.
