American Idol 2012 Top 2 finalists Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips competed against each other on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 on their Grand Finale performance night, after Joshua Ledet was eliminated last week.Videos of some of their performances are available below.
For the first set, with the songs chosen by American Idol Executive Producer Simon Fuller, Jessica was the first one to perform and sang “I Have Nothing” , while Phillip sang “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King.

For the second set, which was dubbed as their favorite song of the season, Jessica sang Celine Dion‘s “The Prayer” while Phillip sang ‘Movin’ Out’ by Billy Joel. For the third and last round, Jessica performed “Change Nothing” and Phillip sang “Home”.

Jessica Sanchez sang “Change Nothing” as her 3rd song for American Idol Season 11 Top 2 Finale. If she wins the title, this will be released as her winning piece.
